Had you reread the Prydain Chronicles since we were kids?
That was my first reread of the Prydain books since I was a kid. I brought back from Sebastopol the paperbacks we had. But then the cats peed on them so I had to throw them away.
On breaks at work I have been working my way through children's books I read as a kid -- and books (like Pippi Longstocking) that I never did get to. Lloyd Alexander published some Prydain short stories in the years after I read the novels. I have the short story collection at my desk at work right now.
I bought a boxed set of the Prydain books when I worked at Half Price Books. I think I sold it off during once of my recent book purges. I think. Given my lack of reading time I know it's not a series I'm likely to reread anytime soon and I'm trying to let books go now before we have to move again. (No move is on the horizon. I'm trying to make our lives more possession light.)
